PART-TIME SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPURTUNITY

The Charleston Lake Association (CLA) is launching a Boater Awareness Safety initiative. One of the main components of the initiative is education and awareness.

 

Consequently, we are hiring summer students to assist in this endeavour.  Students will be working in pairs.  The main duties will be to distribute educational material and pamphlets at boat launches.  The students will also be required to conduct short surveys on behalf of the CLA.

 

Students may also be required to answer general questions about the Association and its mandate therefore, information material will be provided to the students prior to reporting to duty in order to familiarize themselves with the Association’s mandate and activities.

 

Location:              Cataraqui Boat Launch at the Outlet.

                             Cataraqui Boat Launch at the Village of Charleston.

                             Main boat Launch and dock at the Village of Charleston.

 

When:                  2021 July Long Weekend (3 days of 8 hours of work)

                             2021 August Long Weekend (3 days of 8 hours of work)

                             2021 September Long Weekend (3 days of 8 hours of work)

 

The hours will likely be from 7 am to 3 pm but students must be prepared to work hours that could be different.  There is also the possibility that additional and/or different dates will be required to work for other special events such as fishing tournaments.

 

Who:                     High School, College & University students who are at least 16 years of age.

Salary:                   $15.00 per hour.
